MW3 Quick Scope

Quick Scope was a term that I had never heard of until I started doing some research into how I was getting killed by snipers running around the map. Once I figured out they were using a technique called Quickscoping I knew I had to learn how to do it. Quick Scope is not just a weapons setup or finding a spot to lay down and kill people. Its a way of shooting that is very accurate, but takes some time and finesse to get it correctly. But once you do, its game over for your opponents. Here are some MW3 quick scope tips to help you learn how to do it.

• 1. Line your opponent up
• 2. Stop moving
• 3. Begin to pull up your sights
• 4. FIRE!

1. Line your opponent up

The very first task, before you ever pull up your sites, is to line up your cross hairs with your enemy. You want to be directly facing your enemy so that when you are ready to pull up your scope you are already on your target. You want to have your cross hairs as close to your enemy’s head as possible. It doesn’t have to be exactly on his head, but the close the better the chance to use one bullet.

2. Stop moving

Task number 2 is to STOP MOVING! This is where most newbie players and some who just haven’t taken the time to learn from their mistakes will have issues. When you stop moving you are making your accuracy jump up even higher. If you take notice, the cross hairs actually get a little tighter when you stop moving. The closer that cross is together, the more accurate. Dropping down to crouch or to prone will only increase your accuracy. and this will also reduce the chance the enemy will be able to see you and fire back.

3. Begin to pull up your sights

Step 3 is the difficult part. This just takes time to get the hang of it. Once you have done step 1 and 2 you have already increased your accuracy by +60%. But step 3 goes above and beyond the 60%. With this you want to 1 and 2 done you can hit your scope button. Once it is about 75% of the way up (you should see the black of the scope) this is when you have entered quick scope range. If the sights go all the way up, then you have exited quick scoping range. This will take some finesse, but once you get the hang of it your enemy’s won’t know what hit them!

4. FIRE!

This is when the magic happens. Pull the trigger and watch your enemy drop to his knees! If you have done steps 1 through 3 correctly then it should be 1 Shot, 1 Kill.

Once you set the timing, you will be ready for shooting enemy’s with quick scope over and over again. This is how all the higher Prestige guys dominate all the newbie players.
